Biography
Pavel Petrovich Ushakov (1759–1840) was a distinguished figure in Russian society during a transformative period in the nation's history. Over his long life spanning more than eight decades, he witnessed and participated in significant events that shaped Russian culture and society.
Ushakov's extended lifetime allowed him to bridge different eras of Russian development, and his memory was preserved in the Kazanskoe cemetery in Pushkin, a burial ground of considerable historical significance.
