Biography

Герасим Фёдорович Депальдо (1788–1823) was a Russian figure whose life spanned the tumultuous early decades of the 19th century. Though details of his life remain sparse in historical records, he represents the many individuals who lived through the Napoleonic Wars and the transformations of Russian society during this period.

Depaldo's brief life of thirty-five years concluded in Taganrog, where he was laid to rest in the Old Cemetery. His burial in this significant southern Russian city suggests connections to the region's commercial and cultural life.
