Biography

Nikolay Petrovich Godein (1790–1856) was a Russian figure of the late 18th and mid-19th centuries. He lived through one of the most consequential periods in Russian history, including the Napoleonic Wars and the reign of Nicholas I, which shaped the development of the Russian Empire.

Godein's life spanned decades of significant historical change, and he was ultimately interred in the Cemetery of the Donskoy Monastery, one of Moscow's most distinguished burial grounds, reflecting his social position and family standing.
