Валерий Валерьевич Скрипицын (1799–1874) was a notable figure of 19th-century Russian society whose life spanned nearly eight decades of significant historical change. He witnessed the transformation of Russia from the Napoleonic era through the reign of Alexander II.

Скрипицын's legacy is preserved in the Cemetery of the Donskoy Monastery in Moscow, one of Russia's most historically significant burial grounds. His final resting place reflects the prominence he held within Russian cultural and social circles of his time.
