Biography

Egor Vasilievich Trekhletov (1801–1853) was a Russian local historian who dedicated himself to preserving and documenting the history of his region. He lived during the early 19th century, a period when interest in Russian provincial history and culture was growing among intellectuals.

Trekhletov's work as a local historian contributed to the understanding and preservation of Russian regional heritage. He was laid to rest in Saint-Léonce Cemetery in Yaroslavl, reflecting his deep connections to the region he studied and served throughout his life.
