Афанасий Григорьевич Шпигоцкий (1809–1889) was a Russian poet whose literary works contributed to the rich poetic traditions of 19th-century Russia. His verse reflected the Romantic and later aesthetic movements that shaped Russian literature during this period.

Шпигоцкий's poetic legacy was preserved through his burial at Mitrofanievskoe Cemetery, a distinguished Moscow cemetery that honored many of Russia's most accomplished writers and poets.
