Biography

Varvara Alexeevna Vadbolia (1817–1868) was a Russian writer who contributed to the literary culture of 19th-century Russia. Her works reflected the intellectual and social currents of her era, engaging with themes relevant to educated Russian society during the reign of Nicholas I and the early years of Alexander II.

Though details of her literary output remain limited in historical records, she is remembered as a participant in Russia's vibrant intellectual life. She was interred at Donskoe Cemetery in Moscow, a final resting place befitting her cultural standing in Russian society.
