Biography
Nikolay Aleksandrovich Sergievsky was an educator who dedicated his career to teaching and the advancement of learning in 19th-century Russia. Born in 1827, he worked in the field of education during a period of significant educational reform and development in the Russian Empire.
Sergievsky's contributions to education were recognized throughout his lifetime, and upon his death in 1892, he was laid to rest at Semenovskoe cemetery, a burial place that reflected the esteem in which he was held as a respected teacher and intellectual figure.
