Biography

Александра Гавриловна Лесникова (1830–1911) was a woman of the Russian gentry who lived through a transformative century of Russian history. Her long life witnessed the reign of multiple Russian emperors and significant social and cultural developments in the Russian Empire.

Лесникова's existence reflected the experiences of the educated Russian nobility during the 19th century. She was interred in the Nikolskoe Cemetery of Alexander Nevsky Lavra, a distinguished burial ground in Saint Petersburg that served prominent members of Russian society.
