Biography
Alexander Petrovich Myakin was a Russian-born figure who lived through the upheavals of his homeland and carried the memory of that culture into the Paris region, where the émigré community sought to keep its traditions alive.
He remained quietly devoted to sustaining those ties, taking part in cultural and charitable gatherings around Pantin and ensuring that the voices of the diaspora were remembered before his passing in 1936.
