Евгения Владимировна Потопчина was a distinguished Russian singer whose career spanned the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Her vocal talents and artistic contributions to Russian musical culture were recognized throughout her lifetime.

After the Russian Revolution, Potopchina became part of the Russian émigré community in France, where she spent her final years. She was laid to rest in the Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois Russian Cemetery, a final resting place for many notable members of the Russian diaspora.
