Biography

Mikhail Mikhailovich Shcheglov was a distinguished Russian printmaker whose artistic contributions spanned the early-to-mid twentieth century. Born in 1885, he developed his craft during a transformative period in Russian visual arts, creating works that reflected both traditional techniques and contemporary sensibilities.

Shcheglov's legacy as a printmaker remains part of the cultural heritage of his era. He passed away in 1955 and was laid to rest at the 1st Civil Cemetery of Simferopol, where his memory continues to be honored among the artistic community of the Crimean region.
