Biography

Mikhail Ivanovich Izerghin (1891–1922) was a Russian revolutionary whose life was dedicated to the ideals of social transformation during the Russian Revolution and its aftermath. He participated in the revolutionary movements that sought to reshape Russian society during this pivotal historical moment.

Izerghin's commitment to revolutionary causes was characteristic of many young Russians of his generation who believed in fundamental social change. His early death in 1922 prevented him from witnessing the full development of the Soviet state he had helped to establish.
