Biography

Евтихий (Качур) was a devoted member of the Russian Orthodox clergy who served his congregation throughout the turbulent early decades of the twentieth century. His commitment to his faith remained steadfast even as the Soviet state increasingly restricted religious practice.

He was executed at the Butovo firing range in 1937 during the Great Purge, becoming one of thousands of clergy members who lost their lives during this dark period of Soviet history.
