Biography

Nikolay Vasilyevich Bekhtin was a distinguished Soviet scientist whose career spanned much of the twentieth century. Born in 1896, he made significant contributions to his field during the Soviet era, establishing himself as a respected figure in the scientific community.

Bekhtin's work and legacy continued to influence Soviet scientific thought throughout his lifetime. He passed away in 1983 and was laid to rest at Novodevichy Cemetery, one of Moscow's most prestigious burial grounds reserved for notable cultural and scientific figures.
