Biography

Nikolay Tarasovich Rogatin was a Russian singer whose voice contributed to the cultural life of the Soviet Union. Born in 1903, he represented the generation of performing artists who worked during the early Soviet era.

Rogatin's life was cut short in 1937, a tragic year in Soviet history. He was interred in Donskoe cemetery, joining other cultural figures in this historic burial ground.
