Biography

Mikhail Safronovich Rogov, born in 1916, grew up in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County, where neighbors recalled his sense of fairness and his willingness to lend a hand.

As a soldier, he stood with comrades in 1944 and paid the ultimate price; his sacrifice continues to be honored by those who visit his resting place.
