Biography

A. Loudon Snowden devoted decades to American diplomacy, representing the United States at posts abroad and tending to the needs of citizens and government alike during periods of great change.

While much of his work happened beyond the public eye, he remained connected to friends and colleagues in Philadelphia, and his memory is cherished at Laurel Hill Cemetery where he rests.
