Aaron Fleishhacker

Biography

Aaron Fleishhacker (1820-1898) was a merchant who arrived in California amid the gold rush and went on to establish manufacturing enterprises that supplied the growing population with paper goods and containers.

He nurtured his business while supporting civic causes, and he is buried at Home of Peace Cemetery and Emanu-El Mausoleum, leaving a legacy of entrepreneurship and community care.
