Aaron Kitchell

Biography

Aaron Kitchell, born in 1744, represented New Jersey in both houses of Congress, working to ensure that the young nation honored its commitments to agriculture and fair trade.

Returning home between terms, he encouraged local schools and churches, offering his experience to neighbors and finding rest at the First Presbyterian Church of Hanover Cemetery.
