Biography
Abdul Rahman Andak, born in 1850, rose from humble beginnings to become a trusted adviser and statesman to Sultan Abu Bakar of Johor. He was instrumental in steering the state through a period of modernization, helping to codify reforms that balanced tradition with responsible administration.
