Abijah Curtiss

Biography

Abijah Curtiss, who arrived in 1831, made his life in a rural setting where neighbors depended on one another for strength and comfort.

He died in 1888, and Pine Grove Cemetery became the place where his community gathered to salute a life of quiet generosity.
