Abraham Darby IV was a distinguished metallurgist and member of the renowned Darby family of Coalbrookdale, whose innovations in iron production fundamentally transformed British industry. Following in the footsteps of his celebrated ancestors, he continued the family's legacy of industrial advancement and technical expertise during the nineteenth century.
