Biography
Abraham Kalisker (1741–1810) was a rabbi who joined the early circle of scholars committed to Jerusalem and Tiberias, nurturing Torah study in the Old City and fostering Jewish life in the Galilee.
He is remembered for helping anchor the community in Tiberias, where his soul finds peace in the Old Cemetery.
