Abraham Ogden

Biography

Abraham Ogden (1771–1825) came of age during the American Revolution and lived through the early decades of the republic. His fifty-four years reflected the growth and development of the young nation during a formative period.

Ogden was laid to rest at Walton Cemetery following his death in 1825. His life connected him to the generation that secured American independence and established the foundations of the republic.
