Abraham Türkl

Biography

Abraham Türkl was born in 1819 and lived a long life spanning most of the nineteenth century. He was a respected member of the Brno Jewish community, witnessing and participating in the life of the community across seven decades of significant historical change.

Abraham passed away in 1891, having lived through the transformations of the nineteenth century. His final resting place in the Jewish cemetery of Brno reflects his lifelong dedication to his faith and community, and he remains remembered as part of the enduring legacy of Brno's Jewish heritage.
