Biography

Adalbert d'Affry de la Monnoye was a French aristocrat who represented the nobility of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. As a member of the French aristocracy, he embodied the traditions and values of his class during a period when the old nobility was adapting to modern France.

Born in 1855, d'Affry de la Monnoye died in 1910 at the age of fifty-five. His life encompassed the latter decades of the nineteenth century and the opening years of the twentieth. He was honored with burial in Père Lachaise Cemetery, reflecting his distinguished social standing.
