Ádám Bethlen

Biography

Ádám Bethlen (1790–1863) was a distinguished Hungarian chamberlain who served in an official capacity during a transformative period in Central European history. His long life spanned the Napoleonic era through the mid-nineteenth century, witnessing significant political and social changes in the Hungarian lands.

Bethlen's career in the royal court reflected his status among the Hungarian nobility and his commitment to public service. He was laid to rest at the Fiume Road Graveyard, a final resting place befitting his station and contributions to Hungarian society during his 73 years of life.
