Biography

Ádám Bethlen (1790–1863) was a distinguished Hungarian chamberlain who served in an official capacity during a transformative period in Central European history. His long life spanned the Napoleonic era through the mid-nineteenth century, witnessing significant political and social changes in the Hungarian lands.
