Biography

Adam Polewka was a dedicated translator who contributed significantly to cultural exchange in early 20th-century Poland. His work bridging languages and literatures helped make important texts accessible to Polish audiences during a transformative period in the nation's history.

Polewka's career spanned the first half of the twentieth century, a time of considerable change in Poland. He is remembered for his commitment to his craft and his role in the intellectual life of his era. He was laid to rest at Rakowicki Cemetery in Kraków.
