Biography
Adam Potocki (1776–1812) was a Polish military officer who served his nation during the Napoleonic Wars and the turbulent early decades of the 19th century. As a member of the distinguished Potocki family, he embodied the martial traditions of the Polish nobility.
Potocki's military career was cut short by his death in 1812 at the age of 36. He was interred in the Church of the Transfiguration of Jesus Christ in Warsaw, honored for his service to Poland during a critical period in the nation's struggle for independence.
