Biography
Ādams Vītols was born in 1876 and answered the calling of the Eastern Orthodox Church, tending to his congregation in Riga with deep compassion and a pastoral heart. Through the turbulence of the early twentieth century he offered comfort and a sense of continuity to those around him.
Even as the world around him changed, he remained devoted to his parish, and he passed away in 1942, his memory cherished by the faithful who relied on his counsel.
