Biography
Adolf Gubitzer joined the firefighting service with a quiet resolve, always ready to enter smoke-filled rooms so others could breathe freely. He treated every alarm as a solemn responsibility, earning the admiration of those he rescued and a reputation for calm leadership during chaotic moments.
Even as war and hardship stretched the limits of the fire brigades, he remained in service, guiding younger firefighters with the same steadfast spirit that defined his early days on the force. Ottakringer Friedhof preserves the memory of a man who risked everything for his neighbors and who stood as a bulwark against danger.
