Biography

Adolf Konrad Steinert was a factory owner who played a role in the industrial development of Łódź during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. His entrepreneurial endeavors reflected the city's emergence as a major manufacturing center.

Steinert's final resting place is in the Evangelical-Augsburg section of Łódź Old Cemetery, where he was buried in 1916. His life exemplified the industrial class that transformed Łódź into one of Europe's significant industrial cities.
