Biography

Aemilian Edlauer was an Austrian malacologist whose scientific contributions advanced the study of mollusks in Central Europe during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. His research and collections enriched the understanding of malacological fauna in the Alpine regions.

Edlauer's legacy endures through his scholarly work and the specimens he catalogued, which continue to serve as valuable resources for subsequent generations of naturalists and researchers. He was laid to rest at Weidling Cemetery, where his memory is preserved.
