Afanasy Stolypin

Biography

Afanasy Stolypin (1788–1864) was a Russian nobleman connected to one of the empire's prominent aristocratic families. He lived through the Napoleonic Wars and the subsequent development of 19th-century Russia, witnessing significant political and social transformations.

Stolypin was interred at the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Monastery in Saratov, a significant religious and burial site in the Volga region. His burial place reflects his family's importance and their connections to the Saratov area.
