Agnete Hedemark

Biography

Agnete Hedemark was a Danish sculptor of considerable talent, working during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Her sculptural works contributed to the artistic heritage of Denmark during a transformative period in the nation's cultural development.

As a woman artist in a field traditionally dominated by men, Hedemark's achievements in sculpture represent an important part of Danish art history. She is remembered for her artistic contributions and is interred at Taarbæk Kirkegård.
