Biography

Ahmet Ferit Tek was a prominent Turkish politician whose career spanned the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Born in 1878, he witnessed and participated in the major political transformations of his era, serving the Ottoman state and later the Turkish Republic through his political engagement and public service.

Tek's long political career reflected his commitment to governance and national development during a period of significant historical change. He remained engaged in political affairs throughout his life until his death in 1971. He was laid to rest at Sahrayıcedid Cemetery, honored as a respected political figure whose service spanned multiple eras of Turkish history.
