Biography
Aino Bach devoted her life to capturing the Estonian spirit through delicate lithographs and expressive drawings. Her work at once soothed and challenged the viewer, drawing on the quiet resilience of her homeland while embracing modernist sensibilities.
During a long career she inspired generations of artists and maintained a steadfast commitment to the cultural community in Tallinn. Bach spent her later years reflecting on her artistic legacy before being laid to rest at Metsakalmistu in 1980.
