Biography
Alan Walton translated scientific curiosity into leadership, guiding biotechnology companies and investment groups in their pursuit of new treatments while championing the collaboration between researchers and entrepreneurs.
He encouraged many to pursue careers in science, and when he passed in 2015 colleagues remembered his generous mentoring as he was laid to rest at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
