Biography

Alar Ainumäe was a lifelong advocate for agricultural renewal, melding scientific rigour with an intuitive respect for the land that sustains communities. His research in agronomy advanced both crop resilience and sustainable practices, providing practical solutions for farmers across Estonia.

He also believed in mentoring young specialists, helping to cultivate a new generation of agricultural scientists who could carry forward his dedication. The Ambla Churchyard marks his resting place, a fitting tribute to a man grounded in both field and family.
