Biography

Albert G. Lawrence answered both the drumbeat of war and the appeal of international service, serving with valor in uniform during the conflict and later representing his country abroad with courtesy and tact. His travels and responsibilities brought him into contact with many communities, yet he remained grounded in the ideals of duty and honor.

Friends remembered him as a gracious host who welcomed others into dialogue and whose household supported charitable works at home. He is laid to rest at Lawrence Cemetery, where his example of public service is still recalled.
