Albert Menier was a French chocolate manufacturer and member of the prominent Menier family, whose industrial enterprise became one of Europe's most successful confectionery businesses. Born in 1858, he inherited and contributed to the expansion of the family's chocolate manufacturing operations, which had already achieved considerable renown. Under his stewardship, the Menier company continued its tradition of quality production and commercial success.

Menier's life exemplified the success of French industrial capitalism in the nineteenth century, as his family's business became synonymous with fine chocolate production.
