Albert Overhauser, born in 1925, was a physicist whose theoretical work on electron-nuclear interactions, known as the Overhauser effect, reshaped magnetic resonance research.

A mentor to many students, he celebrated scientific curiosity and now rests at Saint Boniface Cemetery, leaving a legacy of discovery and generous teaching.
