Biography

Albert Thurgood was a dedicated Australian rules football player whose career spanned the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. He was part of a generation instrumental in establishing Australian football as a major sport.

Thurgood's contributions to the game are remembered as part of Australian sporting history. He was laid to rest at Brighton Cemetery, where his legacy as a player continues to be honored.
