Biography
Aleksander Sulkiewicz was a dedicated member of Poland's military personnel who served his nation with distinction. Born in 1867, he lived through a period of significant political and military upheaval in Central Europe, serving during the twilight of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the emergence of modern Poland.
Sulkiewicz's military service represented his commitment to Polish independence and sovereignty. He died in 1916 and was accorded the honor of burial at Powązki Military Cemetery in Warsaw, the final resting place of Poland's military heroes.
