Biography
Aleksandr Aleksandrovich Lapauri was a talented Soviet ballet dancer who graced the stages of Russia's premier dance institutions. His technical skill and artistic interpretation made him a notable figure in mid-twentieth century Soviet ballet.
Lapauri's contributions to dance during a golden age of Soviet ballet are remembered as part of the rich tradition of Russian classical dance. He was interred at Vvedenskoye Cemetery following his death in 1975.
