Biography

Aleksandr Gurevich was a Russian poet whose literary works contributed to contemporary Russian poetry. Born in 1959, he was active during the transformative late Soviet and early post-Soviet period, a time of significant cultural change and artistic renewal.

Gurevich's poetry reflected the sensibilities and concerns of his generation of writers. He passed away in 2002 and was interred at Serafimovskoe Cemetery, where his memory is preserved among the literary figures of his time.
