Aleksandr Korolyov

Biography

Aleksandr Korolyov was born in 1909 in Asbest, an important mining and industrial center in the Sverdlovsk Oblast. He lived through the entire Soviet period, from its early years through the post-World War II era and beyond.

Korolyov's life spanned seventy-four years of Russian and Soviet history. He witnessed the industrialization of the Urals region and passed away in 1983, having lived through nearly the entire twentieth century.
