Biography
Aleksis Kuusik, born in 1886, led his school with a belief that education should nurture curiosity, steering classrooms toward new pedagogical methods while valuing each student’s voice and heritage.
He mentored fellow teachers, championed civic-minded learning, and reminded generations of young people that knowledge and kindness belong together, leaving his mark before being interred at Alexander Nevsky cemetery.
