Alexander Casseday

Biography

Alexander Casseday was born in 1836 and came of age during the antebellum period and the Civil War. His life was shaped by the transformative events of mid-nineteenth-century America, a time of profound national change and conflict.

Casseday passed away in 1862 at the age of twenty-six and was laid to rest at Cave Hill Cemetery. Though his life was brief, he lived through some of the most significant events in American history.
